Nature Immersion
Introduction
Learn to experience nature's powerful medicines of fresh air in your lungs, earth beneath your feet, fresh water from a stream, and the fiery sun on your face. I offer a Medicine Journey format and a Backpacking format for my nature immersion sessions.
Backpacking Format
The Backpacking format is a wilderness backpacking experience for those of any experience level. We'll carry packs with everything we need and hike to a wilderness campsite away from civilization! The hike will be within a 3-hour drive from Atlanta, and I have plenty of beautiful locations to choose from.
Backpacking outings do not involve a medicine journey, but they can nonetheless be quite a psychedelic experience, especially for a first timer.

Medicine Journey Format
This format is a comfortable camping experience near the car in a completely private campsite on Lake Hartwell at Tugaloo State Park. The lakefront site includes three 3-sided covered shelters (two for sleeping and one for the medicine journey), two pit toilets, a tap for fresh water, and direct access to the lake.
The experience is very similar to the standard Retreat Session, except outdoors! It incorporates a preparation meeting the evening we arrive; the medicine journey the next morning; a nature hike and relaxing in the afternoon; and integration the next morning. For more information on the medicine journey specifically, please read What To Expect.
